RM: Tomorrow, I will make idli and chutney

RM: What no?
R: you not making chutney…aapka chutney is no light green like daycare..you make white and black chutney…me nathi liking!
=====
RD: and so RM
RM: I dont want to hear
RD: arey what you dont want to hear?
RM: Whatever you have to say, I dont want to hear, go have your bath and we will eat
RD:!!!!
=========
RM: R its your exam..we have to study
R: hmmm
RM: R what are you doing
R: arey studying amma
When I go in and see, the brat actually has her school book in her hand recognizing A B C
========
RM: R I can see you biting your nails
R hide her head underneath the pillow and continues
RM: I Can still see you R
R: Kaise, mein toh pillow ke neech hoon?
RM: Because Ammas can see everywhere
R doesnt say anything
Some days later, RD, R, RM and RD’s friend NH from Australia are going shopping
R again bites her nail as NH examines some jewellery in a shop
RM: R I can see you bite your nails
R: no you cannot I am aapke peeche
RM: So what, I can see you
She thinks for like two minutes
R: Can N aunty see me ?
RM: Well, I am not sure..
R: Then I dont want RM as amma, I want N Aunty as Amma
and I burst out laughing 🙂
============
R and I are sitting by the window drinking her milk…errr…I mean she is drinking and I am just sitting!
anyways the background is…I went and bought two plants the other day..tulsi and kadi patta
RD: RM, whats the point of buying, no plant survives when you plant it
RM: hmpf…or something in those lines!
anyways so when I am planting at 9.30 in the night on Sunday, the brat tells me, this is my baby and this is your baby (kadi patta is hers, and the tulsi is mine)
Anyways so that morning, I ask her how are your babies..
R: kya babies?
RM: arey you said na..the plants are your babies
R: oh that, I dont know..aache hai kya?
RM: well, they look fine to me
R: acha, mereko woh baby kabhi milega?
RM: what baby?
R: arey woh doll jaisa baby
RM: What doll?
R: uff..smacks her hand on her head, arey amma, woh jo aapke tummy mein hai (Amma, the one thats in our tummy)
I am so shocked for a second that I didnt even react
RM: arey there is no baby in my tummy
R: Toh kabhi ayegi
RM: Jab God denge tabhi
R: Toh kabhi denge
RM: I dont know baby
She thinks for a while
R: Amma, mereko toh girl chaheye
RM: Well, whatever God gives we have to take na
She again sips her milk for a while and then says
R:Acha amma, ek thing karte hai..we will ask God for one boy one girl..boy Appa ke liye, girl mere liye
By this time RM has fainted!!!
1sty? pls pls pls
lol @ I want N aunty as mamma 😛 and what ek boy and ek girl ? do you want a boy RM 😛 😛 😛 and when is the baby coming out by the way 😉 tell tell I’ll come to attend your baby shower 😉
this kutty is so so so so sweet !!! Feel like coming there RIGHT NOW!
I dont want anything as of now 🙂
yes yes yes
Haha RM, R is sooo cute.! Big hugs to both of you 🙂
thanks 🙂
Cute cute cute :)))
What’s with all these babies? they all want us to have another baby..My daughter was asking me for the same thing just two days back..and guess what… I told her the same thing..we will get another baby when God gives us..thank ‘GOD’ for saving us..for sometime atleast 🙂
was she? arey I think in R’s case its more with the kids in her daycare of her age now having siblings..almost like a competition..mere ghar pe ek chotu baby hai..what about yours?
Now that you mention, I think she too wants one because some of her friends at play school have a younger sibling and her closest friend also has a younger sibling(girl)..so, she too wants only a girl baby..but frankly, I am so confused about this ‘second’ baby business..can’t completely strike it off my wish list nor able to decide for one right away 😦
I know I know…the second baby is a big project in itself
I want N aunty as amma– hehehehe… so so so cute she is.. I liked both Rism and RM-ism 😀
hehehe thanks 🙂 you are the only one who acknowledged the RM-ism
A big hugs to both of u…
Baby one is hilarious…
U make my day RM !!!
glad you enjoyed
Looks like R household is ready for twins (that too boy and girl) 😉 muah to R sweety 🙂
hahahah! That is never going to happen..hardly any twins in both side of the family..infact I dont know if we have ANY twins at all in the families
Don’t worry, SnS and I are more than happy to bless you 😀 You have been falling at our feet often and asking for blessings. You never know what blessings we chose to give 😀
hehehehe 🙂 I know that…
Ha ha.. And for all that I know, there haven’t been any twins in both our sides of our family as well. So, there! 😀 😀
seriously???
All your Risms have R demanding for a baby now. You better get her one fast before she starts asking God for 2, 3,… babies 🙂
Wow! she is not even 4 and actually studies for her exams on her own. I am impressed 🙂
“Ammas can see everywhere” That’s what I tell my daughter when she does mischief hiding from me 🙂
Like I said above, I think its more because of the kids in her daycare slowly starting to have siblings..so competition hai 🙂
Errr…she was not studying..she was pretending to study trying to tear the pages of the book!
Oh I love to eat Bournvita too 😛
😆 she is hilarious I tell you RM…..wants N Aunty as mummy 😆
err…beware of that asking god for one boy and one girl!!! strangely, their little wish do come true 😯
Even I love but because of her asthma the doc is not very keen about her eating it..so I dont give it as such 🙂
Dont scare me darling!
Super duper idea 🙂 One boy one girl eh? Why not three? One for each of you…
2nd one happens with me like this… I ask ‘Do you want Idli or Dosa?’ Mannu – Idli, Tammu – Dosa! Then I make something else as I don’t want to disappoint any of them 😛
She actually went to study eh? Wow! So cute…
Anyway, the bottom line is when are you giving doll jaisa baby? Bolo bolo
Gah to your first line
Hugs on the second line
No she went to tear her book 😦
Errr..I dont know Seema, another baby is scary thought 🙂
R.. Gimme a high-5!! 🙂 🙂
*Gives a hi-fi right back*
Studies as soon as you ask her to? What a diligent child… And ofcourse who wants an Amma who wont let me do everything I want? huh? I have said the same thing to my Amma millions of time the same thing – so can totally relate to her words…
AND, come on now – is there or isnt there a little doll girl inside there? Huh? How is cutie R getting all those ideas then? huh huh huh? Tell tell telllllllllll
Errr..she was tearing the pages 😦
nope there IS NO baby inside there 🙂 like I said, I think its more because the kids in her daycare are slowly having siblings so thoda competition ho gaya hai
hehehe black and white chutney, add little dhaniya patti na them it will become green :-)God 1 R +2 RM+ 2more babies….good going 🙂
I loved that line :’no you cannot I am aapke peeche’ LOL she wants N aunty as her amma 🙂
I know…the white is the coconut and the black is the tadka of mustard I put..and look at this girl describing it Gah!
So she gets to choose her siblings and her mamma both 😀
I know..I didnt realise it till you mentioned this now 🙂
She is so so cute RM!! I want to really hug and kiss her.. Wish we could meet, I am sure my son would love playing with her..
Errr..I think your son will get scared of her..most boys of her age or slightly older to her hardly talk to her..she scares them away 😦
Considering her mother’s track record of 4th standard, she’s not the one to be blamed 😀
Gah!
wow.. boy and girl baby.. super cute R… looks like now a days R is wanting a Junior R.. may be you should think about it.. :P.. then we will hav post on JR.. or RJ??? :).
now u should think of red chutney also.. 🙂
exchange of amma’s.. how quickly kids think na..
hahahah! JR or RJ is very far way babes 🙂
Mmmuaaah! I love R! I don’t know what else to say beyond that 😀 My God, you have non-stop entertainment at home, don’t you? 🙂
Arey totally..everyday something new and its so funny at times…yesterday RD made Karela bhaji..and she saw it and said ‘Appa mereko bhi frog bhaji khana hai’ RD was not too pleased with that description 🙂
Poor RD… haha.. he also gets to face what you face most of the time due to R-ism along with RM-ism… i think that every Husband has to.. thats wt they all keep saying all the time.. gah to them… !! We girls are such nice people…
heheh 🙂
This is so so so cute. Loved it! 🙂
LOL @ nathi laking. Darn adorable your kid is. 😀
ROFL @ toh kab aayegi? Kab aayegi, RM?!
Abhi to nahi aayegi 🙂 lets see when she ayegi
Oh… I loved Bournvita as a kid too..and then it was Milo as a teenager…
And ROFL at one boy and one girl. So I’m guessing twins are next in line??? 😛
hahaha! I doubt I will ever get twins..none in the family on either side 🙂
LoL on R-isms 😀
Why u give her B/W chutney always…get some eastman colour na 😉
Only 4 years and she already want to replace u……u should torture her less 😀
I know..I should give her coloured chutneys..
Gah on the last line 🙂
Such a cruel mom u r, not giving a baby girl to R!!! Not done 😀 😀 😀 😀
And tell her that when she grows up she can participate in “Ma Exchange” kind of program 😉
Sunday I asked Arnav what will he eat cheeni paratha, aloo paratha or oats and the bugger replied Cake!!! And to check if he has said this by fluke I repeated my ques twice only to get the same answer 😐
hahaha ARnav is getting smarter…I dont mind the parathas though 🙂
Ha ha! All these kiddos are super-smart 😉 Muahs to them!
Crazy na 🙂
RM… me and bro used to eat sugar, bournvita and roasted peanut powder mixed together when I was a kid. when mum was not around and we were hungry…. it was one of our fav foods.. ur post reminded me of those days… thanks
and about those babies…. go ahead give her one… 😉
hahahah! seriously!! I do remember ‘stealing’ ghee when we were kids 😉 and Amma ALWAYS found that out 🙂
Super Super Super
I want to meet R 🙂
Come to Bengaluru
Swarna
hahah! RD is coming to Bangalore to run the marathon…doubt whether we can meet it..if you cant see the baby, go ahead and meet the father..he is a cute character as well 🙂
LOL RM.. My elder sis has a 2.5yr old daughter, and my sis n jiju keep telling me her amusing stories as well.. The way she hid under the pillow when you said you can see her was awesome.. 😀
Awwww! how sweet..she sure must be a total delight to have around
Risms made my dull day have a little smile. You must allot days in the week exclusively to write about Risms – say 5 days a week. 😛
If you want to write about anything else, you should do that mehnat over the weekend 😀
Accha the brat likes light green chutney is it? Here’s a recipe I know that has never ever failed to please any child.
Take fresh coconut, corriander, garlic(must), green chilli(skip it if R can’t eat spicy food) and grind together. Squeeze some lemon and add sugar. This chutney has to be mildly sweet. Then add a pinch of salt to bring out the sweetness and tanginess. Experiment with sugar and lemon until you get the taste that feels right. I can eat a dozen dosas with this chutney 😀
hahaha! R doesnt do so many Risms CR 🙂
Oh thanks a ton for the recipe..I am going to try this for sure…sweet of you to give it 🙂 Muah! I am sure R will be pleased that CR Akka sharing the same birthday with her was kind enough to share a recipe for ‘green’ chutney as well 🙂
She is so rt RM! A boy and a girl is good 😛
And the N aunty-Mumma thing is classic!
yaa right! imagine two more Rs …RM will faint for sure
Lol at N aunty as amma…. 😀 😀
RM, you know R is right…. How about twins, one gal n one boy…. 😀
Gah to yours and R’s suggestion of twins…I will definitely run away somewhere
So it’s going to be twins the next time around. Yay!
PS – Just because you don’t have twins on either side of the family is no reason for you to believe you can’t have them. 😀
hahahah Pepper I am not even pregnant darling 🙂
Arey usually it happens pretty genetically na..thats what I thought..dont scare me okie?
lol! if changing mom’s was so easy am sure my kids would love to participate in such exchange programs!
hahahah! I know I can totally relate to that 🙂
lol… R is growing amma.. muah and hugs to her.. never give an open choice to kids na? lol on idli/chutney.. 🙂
I know..seriously…I thought I was being generous by asking her what she wants…but she…hmpf!
Kids these days are so in tune with babies. I don’t think I’ve ever asked my parents about babies and their arrival times! Anyways, there’s a lot of pressure on you now to have a kid so yes, make your daughter proud! Hahaa! 🙂
hahahahah! very funny :):)
ROFL !!! I loved the last one the best!!! 😆 So when do we see the twins??!!!
hahahah! NEVER!!! I dont think I would ever have twins…
ROFL!!
🙂
