Trip To Mainland – Exploring Brisbane Day 4

We are still adjusting to the hot and humid weather of Brisbane. Its astonishing how our bodies have conditioned themselves to the cold weather of Tasmania πŸ™‚

Today our friends took us to the Koala Conservatory where we saw Koalas really up close. For some weird reason, R2 calls them Koalabbies!!!

One of them was eating bamboo shoots and giving such amazing poses πŸ™‚

We then went to the Mount Coot-tha which is the highest peak in Brisbane and gives the most spectacular view of the city! The city is green with the lovely river flowing through and the high rise buildings looking like tall grass compared to the houses πŸ™‚ The place also gives a brief history of the city, including how the city was formed πŸ™‚

We then went to artificial beach at South Bank where the girls insisted on dipping their feet in every available bit of water!!!

All in all, it was a relaxing kind of day with loads of fun and learning πŸ™‚ Had the most yummy dinner of salads and cheese πŸ™‚

No!!! I didnt do this…our friend braided R’s hair so beautifully!!!
