RD has downloaded some spelling games for R in the micromax pad and she is spelling rug, tug, hat, etc etc..
She gets it right every time and the computer keeps giving her some trophies..the two of them are enjoying while I clean up the clothes shelf *Shudder*
I over hear
R: Appa I got three trophies…
RD: *with immense pride in his voice* you are my Alex Ferguson, R, I am proud of you!
RM banging head against the cupboard and ROLLING EYES
For the uninitiated, here is more information on Alex Ferguson. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Ferguson)
RD spends the day with R on Friday since her daycare is closed and MIL has not yet arrived to take care of R.
They spend the day watching Chota Bheem and Bali in a cinema hall. This is R’s first brush with a cinema hall. RD was insistent he wanted to take her since she was ‘deprived’ *rolls eyes* as per him of the joy of watching movie in the hall.
R calls me at about 2 in the afternoon
RM: R, did you see the movie? Acha laga
R: Nahi amma, maine toh bahut scared ho gayi aur appa ke mandi ke upar sit kiya aur thoda thoda joyu! Movie bahut daravnofiying tha!
Translated as ‘no amma, I got very scared and I sat on appa’s lap and saw a little bit of the movie. the movie was very scary’
First thought in my mind ‘Darn! all that money gone waste gah!’
RD is watching ManU’s match against West Ham and he asks me to check out the guard of honor for Sir Alex. I sit by watching distracted from the paper bag making she and I are doing.
R: Amma Amma, paper fold karo
RM: One second da, let me just watch this guard of honour
R: okay and looks very interested into the TV
After about 3 minutes of watching the world AND RD clapping for Sir Alex, she says yeh kya, koi dancing nahi kiya uncle ke liye?
IPL ka asar?
